Dye sublimation is a way to print vibrant, full color designs on many types of apparel and other items. The process involves special inks, printers and special application to infuse your design directly Into the garment. The result is a super high quality, vibrant print. With screen printing, the ink rests on top of the garment. With dye sublimation, the inks are infused into the fabric which is permanent.

Artwork Requirements & Templates

Follow these steps below to submit artwork for Sublimation:

  • Use a professional design program such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Corel Draw to create your designs in RGB color mode.
  • Artwork must be a minimum resolution of 150 dpi, transparent background and scaled to size (the size to be printed).
  • Convert all text/fonts to smart objects or shapes.
  • Submit high resolution artwork in PSD Format (we will also accept PNG, JPEG, PDF formats).

Note: We do not accept BMP or low quality images taken from the internet. As a rule – quality artwork yields a quality print. So take the time and invest in creating your artwork in hi-resolution.

Images copy/paste or saved from the internet are low quality and will produce poor quality prints. Convert your artwork to high resolution. If you need your designs converted to high resolution, an artwork charge will apply.

Design Service

If you do not have a hi-resolution design, we offer design service for a fraction of what other screen printers would charge. There is a lot of work that goes into creating an amazing design so pricing will depend on the complexity of your request.

Viewing Online Proofs

Every order will receive an online proof for customer approval. When viewing online proofs, please keep in mind these are computer generated versions of the overall layout and the finished product may look slightly different. The proof is to reference logo placement and to view colors selected for print. Everyone’s monitor /screen will display the colors in the proof slightly different. It is the customer’s responsibility to veiw the proof in it’s entiriey and check for any errors. Once approved, changes can not be made to the design or layout.

Also, the type of garment, blend and color all affect the final print color. This is normal and we try our best to counter act this whenever possible.

Wash Instructions

To keep your decorated garments looking their best and last wash after wash, we recommend the following care instructions:

  • Wait at least 24 hours before first wash.
  • Wash inside out in cold/warm water set to normal wash cycle. The use of chlorine bleach is not recommended for any type of garment, especially decorated apparel.
  • Hang to dry or in automatic dryer at low setting. Placing clothing is a dryer will shorten the garment life.

For hard surfaces, clean as you normally would as your item will not fade, peel or crack.

Step 1 of 3

Unlike traditional printing methods where the prints mostly rest on top of the garments, dye sublimation prints actually become a part of the apparel. The inks are heated which become a gas embedded into the garment resulting in an ultra soft feel.
